Manchester United have expressed an interest in signing Paris Saint-Germain right-back Thomas Meunier in January, according to reports.
The Belgium international is currently behind Dani Alves in the PSG pecking order and is believed to want a move away to boost his World Cup chances.
According to The Express, Jose Mourinho has been keeping tabs on Meunier since last summer and has maintained an interest in signing him when the transfer window opens.
The 26 year-old is under contract until 2020 but the report suggests that PSG are willing to sell the defender due to a need to balance the books following the signings of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
Meunier has made 43 appearances for the Ligue 1 giants following his 2016 move from Club Brugge.
