Donald Love leaves Manchester United to join Wigan Athletic on loan

Manchester United youngster Donald Love moves to Wigan Athletic on loan to gain first-team experience with the League One side.

League One side Wigan Athletic have signed young right-back Donald Love on a two-month loan from Manchester United.

The 20-year-old has joined the Latics in time to feature in tomorrow's match against Walsall if Gary Caldwell wants to select him.

"He's a young player still learning but we have had him watched and we believe he has immense potential," Caldwell told the club website.

"He's quick, strong and can play in several different positions defensively. Let's hope he can start realising some of that potential here."

Donald, who earned his first Scotland Under-21s call-up last month, has never played in a senior match before.
