A report claims that Leicester City's Harry Maguire is a £60m target for Manchester United ahead of the January transfer window.

Leicester City centre-back Harry Maguire remains a January transfer target for Manchester United, according to a report.

The Red Devils went in pursuit of Maguire during the summer, only for the 25-year-old to stay at the King Power Stadium and sign a new five-year deal.

Speaking earlier this week, however, the former Sheffield United defender confessed that he would find it difficult turning down a top-six club if an offer did arrive.

The Sun suggests that United are now about to test Leicester's resolve by tabling a bid of £60m, while also offering Maguire a double-your-money deal.

A £60m transfer would make Maguire the second-most expensive defender in the world, following Virgil van Dijk's £75m switch to Liverpool earlier this year.
