Mexico have reportedly sacked Victor Manuel Vucetich less than six weeks after hiring him as manager.
According to the Televisa network, which owns Mexican club America, their coach Miguel Herrera has been named as his replacement ahead of next month's World Cup qualifier against New Zealand.
The Mexican Football Federation are expected to confirm the decision later today.
"The turbulence of the Mexican national team will take new victims and Miguel Herrera will step in," read a statement on their website.
"Victor Manuel Vucetich will cease to be the national team coach and Miguel Herrera will take command to face the playoff against New Zealand."
The 58-year-old oversaw a win against Panama and a defeat to Costa Rica in his two games after taking over from Jose Manuel de la Torre.
