Half-Time Report: Reading lead Millwall at the break

Reading lead Milwall 2-1 at half time at the Madejski Stadium.

Reading lead Millwall 2-1 at half time in their Championship clash at the Madejski Stadium this evening.

Nigel Adkins's side got off to the perfect start when Simon Cox controlled Adam Federici's long goal kick and found the bottom corner from 25 yards after just six minutes.

Reading doubled their lead from the spot 10 minutes later as Nick Blackman was brought down in the box but picked himself up to send David Forde the wrong way with the penalty.

Ricardo Fuller gave Milwall a lifeline when he controlled Scott Malone's cross from the left and found the bottom right corner of the Reading goal six minutes before half time.
