Report: Napoli preparing Dani Parejo move

A report claims that Valencia captain Dani Parejo is a transfer target for Italian side Napoli, who are prepared to pay £14m for the 26-year-old.

Napoli are reportedly considering the possibility of moving for Valencia captain Dani Parejo in the January transfer window.

The 26-year-old, who came through the youth system at Real Madrid, has made more than 150 appearances for Los Che in all competitions.

Last season, the Spaniard hit 12 league goals for his side, while he has also netted four times in nine La Liga appearances this season.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Napoli have been given encouragement in their pursuit, but will have to pay more than the £14m that they are said to be currently offering.

Parejo scored twice in Valencia's 5-1 win at Celta Vigo before the international break.
