Newcastle United's Matty Longstaff is reportedly wanted by an unnamed European club, who are keen to acquire the teenager when his contract expires in the summer.
The 19-year-old has enjoyed a breakthrough season with the Magpies in the 2019-20 campaign, registering two goals in six Premier League appearances as Newcastle United lie 14th in the table following their 0-0 draw with Burnley on Saturday.
However, according to Chronicle Live, Longstaff's admirers are hoping to link up with the Englishman when his current deal runs out in June, despite reported interest from Marseille and Inter Milan.
The report also claims that Newcastle supporters are beginning to grow anxious with only two months left of the season, but the Magpies are yet to put a counter-offer on the table for the midfielder.
Brother Sean Longstaff signed an extension with Steve Bruce's side in December 2018, and will not see his current deal expire until the summer of 2022.
