Newcastle United have reportedly identified Vasco da Gama youngster Marrony as a potential summer signing.
The Magpies have just signed Joelinton from Schalke 04 for a club-record fee, a transfer which could be the first of many at St James' Park.
According to Sky Sports News, the North-East side are looking to attract a second Brazilian to the club ahead of the new season.
Reporter Kaveh Solhekol told The Transfer Show: "One of the intermediaries who was involved in the deal to bring Joelinton to Newcastle got in touch with us this afternoon to say Newcastle were in talks to sign another Brazilian forward called Marrony.
"He's 20 years old and plays for Vasco da Gama in Brazil and we're being told that he has a £30m release clause."
Marrony has netted six goals in 40 outings for the South American side.
