Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion both want to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Conor Coady, according to a report.

Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion are both reportedly considering a move for Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Conor Coady ahead of the January transfer window.

Coady missed a sudden-death spot kick in his team's defeat at Manchester City in the EFL Cup on Tuesday night.

The former Liverpool youngster has only recently signed a long-term contract with Wolves, who sit top of the Championship on 29 points after an impressive start to the 2017-18 campaign.

Coady has been instrumental in Wolves' success this season, and according to The Sun, his form has alerted Newcastle and West Brom, who are both interested in signing the former England Under-20 international.

The 24-year-old has played more than 1,000 minutes of Championship football across 12 appearances this season.
