Andy Reid: 'Nottingham Forest will peak at Christmas'

Nottingham Forest midfielder Andy Reid believes that his side will move up the Championship table over the Christmas period.

Nottingham Forest midfielder Andy Reid has insisted that his side are ready to produce their best form of the season.

Forest fell to a 3-1 defeat away at Ipswich Town on Tuesday night to fall to ninth position in the Championship table. However, Reid believes that the club contains one of the strongest squads in the league.

Reid told BBC Radio Nottingham: "I think that we will go on a good run up to Christmas and into the New Year.

"I believe that coming up to Christmas and into January you will see the best of, not just the starting XI, but the best of the squad.

"When teams start to pick up injuries and suspensions and when we start to pick up them too, I think we will be able to deal with them particularly well."

The 30-year-old has scored three goals for Forest this season.
