Queens Park Rangers captain Joey Barton will undergo a personal hearing with the Football Association after they charged him with two acts of violent conduct.
The 29-year-old is expected to receive an automatic four-match ban for his sending-off against Manchester City on the final weekend of the season, and could also receive two three-match suspensions for his conduct while leave the pitch.
Barton engaged with Carlos Tevez, Sergio Aguero and Vincent Kompany as he left the pitch, and clashed with Mario Balotelli on the sideline.
The FA also boast discretionary powers to further increase the length of the suspension should they wish.
