QPR assistant boss Mark Bowen tells the club's players to expect more boot camp than mid-season holiday as they travel to Portugal.

Queens Park Rangers assistant boss Mark Bowen has told the club's players that their trip to Portugal is anything but a holiday.

It was revealed on Monday that R's boss Mark Hughes was taking his side to a training camp in Portugal, but Bowen has said that the team will have "structure" in the coming week.

"Regardless of their moans and groans we have always found that top professional footballers want structure," Bowen told The Daily Express.

QPR have won just one of their last five league games.
