Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes has revealed that he felt patronised by Fulham boss Martin Jol's gesture at the end of the visitors' 1-0 win at Loftus Road on Saturday.
Hughes brushed Jol's hand away at the final whistle when it looked as if the Dutchman had attempted to pat his counterpart on the cheek.
"I offered my hand and congratulated him but I took exception to it when he went to pat me on the head, which I found slightly patronising," Hughes said after the match.
The defeat has left QPR 17th in the Premier League table.
