How Tottenham Hotspur could line up against Brighton & Hove Albion

Ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash between Brighton and Spurs, Sports Mole looks at how the North Londoners could line up on the south coast.

Tottenham Hotspur will be attempting to avoid a fourth successive defeat in all competitions when they face Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

Mauricio Pochettino's team had made a positive start to the campaign by recording three successive victories, including a win over Manchester United at Old Trafford.

However, setbacks against Watford, Liverpool and Inter Milan - all by a 2-1 scoreline - have left Pochettino having to answer questions regarding his team selection and the fitness of his players.

The Argentine has suggested that he will make changes for the trip to the south coast, and here Sports Mole looks at how his side could line up at the Amex Stadium.

Possible TOT XI vs. BHA

Out: Hugo Lloris (thigh), Vincent Janssen (ankle), Juan Foyth (thigh)
Doubtful: Moussa Sissoko (hamstring), Dele Alli (hamstring)

Spurs have been boosted by the news that both Moussa Sissoko and Dele Alli have returned to training after minor hamstring injuries.

However, it is unclear whether the pair will be rushed back into action at a busy period of the season, and they could have to make do with a place on the bench.

Kieran Trippier and Toby Alderweireld are expected to start at right-back and centre-back respectively after being rested for the midweek trip to Inter.

That could result in Serge Aurier and Davinson Sanchez dropping out of the team, while Eric Dier could also be rested with Victor Wanyama potentially taking his place in midfield.

Hugo Lloris remains out with a thigh problem, but Harry Kane is likely to remain in the starting lineup with Pochettino able to rest the England international in the EFL Cup.
