The agent of Birmingham City striker Nikola Zigic claims a number of Premier League clubs are interested in signing the Serbian.
Relegation to the Championship and its financial implications means the Blues are looking to offload players and have already released six on free transfers.
"A few English teams are showing interest in Zigic, but the obstacle now is his high wage at Birmingham," Milan Calasan told Serbian daily Blic.
"There has been interest from Everton, Wigan and Sunderland, but they cannot meet the quoted price."
"Zigic certainly won't be playing in the Championship," he added. "There are clubs in England which are willing to meet the demands for him, and it is possible he will be continuing his career in the Premier League."
Calasan has also claimed that Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring the 30-year-old's situation.
"Roberto Mancini admires Zigic and would love to see him at Manchester City. If Adebayor departs this summer, the transfer could happen.
"As for Redknapp, he is also heaping praise on Zigic, but he already has Crouch among his ranks."
The Serbian international joined the Midlands club for an undisclosed fee in 2010 after spells with Red Star Belgrade, Racing Santander and Valencia.
