Report: Tottenham Hotspur plan to retain Erik Lamela

Contrary to earlier speculation, a report claims that Tottenham Hotspur want to keep club-record signing Erik Lamela.

Tottenham Hotspur reportedly have no intention of selling Erik Lamela this summer.

Recent speculation claimed that Spurs had decided to part with their club-record signing, who arrived at White Hart Lane from Roma for £30m in 2013.

However, according to Sky Sports News, the 23-year-old will not be sold by the North Londoners, despite reported interest from Italian champions Juventus.

Lamela scored twice in 33 Premier League outings last term.
