West Bromwich Albion's Salomon Rondon to miss qualifiers with hamstring strain

West Bromwich Albion forward Salomon Rondon is ruled out of Venezuela's World Cup qualifiers due to a hamstring injury.

West Bromwich Albion forward Salomon Rondon will play no part in Venezuela's World Cup qualifiers against Bolivia and Ecuador because of a hamstring strain.

The 27-year-old, who played the entire 90 minutes of the Baggies' 2-1 win over Leicester City at the weekend, has been declared unfit to travel.

Despite injury forcing Rondon out of international duty, West Brom are confident that the forward will be fit for the team's league game against Burnley at The Hawthorns on November 21, according to Sky Sports News.

Rondon has scored three goals in 12 appearances this season.
