Stuart Howarth re-signs for Wakefield Trinity Wildcats

Hull FC hooker Stuart Howarth completes a move to Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have completed the signing of hooker Stuart Howarth from Super League rivals Hull FC on an 18-month deal.

The 25-year-old made his debut for Wakefield in 2011, going on to make 21 appearances for the club before leaving to join Salford Red Devils in 2012.

"I am happy to be back at Wakefield, I was here in 2011 and when I found that there was an opportunity to come back to the club, I jumped at it," Howarth told the club's official website.

"I was at Hull FC and only played eight or nine games, I was offered a lot more game time here and I want to play rugby. So it was the right decision for me to make."

Wakefield currently find themselves bottom of the Super League table with just two wins from 15 games.
