Leicester Tigers winger Gonzalo Camacho has been sidelined by a thigh injury.
The Argentina international arrived at Welford Road two years ago, but he is yet to play a competitive fixture for the club due to a long-standing shoulder complaint.
There had been suggestions that he could be fit for the Aviva Premiership opener against London Irish later this month, but director of rugby Richard Cockerill has confirmed that the 31-year-old will now be absent for the next couple of weeks.
"He's still a week or two away. His thigh injury has not recovered as well as we would've liked," Cockerill told BBC Sport.
Cockerill also revealed that Jordan Crane and Owen Williams are close to returning to full fitness.
