Wales make three changes for Six Nations clash against France

Wales have made three changes for Friday's Six Nations clash against France at the Principality Stadium.

Head coach Warren Gatland has brought Dan Lydiate into the back row, Alex Cuthbert on the wing and Bradley Davies in the second row.

The trio have replaced Justin Tipuric, who drops to the replacements' bench, Tom James and Luke Charteris, neither of whom are in the matchday squad.

"We have made a couple of changes, one injury enforced with Luke missing out with a knee injury, but Bradley deserves a starting spot as well so it's a good opportunity for him," said Gatland.

"We have made two other personnel changes with Alex and Dan coming into the starting team. They have trained well and will suit the game France will potentially bring as well.

"We initially thought we would have to wait until later in the week to have a final update on injuries, but we know where we are earlier than expected and have told the squad today, hence announcing today as well."

Wales are unbeaten in the competition so far having secured a draw against Ireland and win over Scotland.
