World number one Novak Djokovic booked his place in the quarter-finals of the French Open thanks to a 4-6 6-3 6-4 6-4 victory over Philipp Kohlschreiber this afternoon.
It appeared that shock was on the cards when Germany's Kohlschreiber broke Djokovic in the opening set and went on to win it.
However, Djokovic responded positively in the next two sets and a single break in each proved to be decisive as he opened up a 2-1 lead.
He went on to dominate the fourth and final set as he produced a string of forehands winners from the baseline. The Serbian eventually broke Kohlschreiber on two occasions, and despite going on to surrender one of his own service games, Djokovic was able to seal his slot in the last eight.
He will now take on veteran Tommy Haas for a semi-final berth.
