Petra Kvitova rallies to beat Silvia Soler-Espinosa

Fourth seed Petra Kvitova comes from a set down to beat Silvia Soler-Espinosa 6-7(4) 6-4 6-2 in the second round of the French Open.

Petra Kvitova has advanced to the third round of the French Open after a 6-7(4) 6-4 6-2 victory over Silvia Soler-Espinosa.

After two breaks apiece, Soler-Espinosa won the first set after a tie-break to take the advantage against the two-time Wimbledon champion.

However, Kvitova responded to claim the second set 6-4 before comfortably clinching the third after two breaks of serve.

The fourth seed will face either Ana Konjuh or Irina-Camelia Begu, who are currently playing their second-round match.
