Two-time Grand Slam champion Andy Murray has insisted that he still needs to improve his attitude on the court.
The Scotsman has shown elements of frustration during matches, but admits that his temper lessened when he was working with former coach Ivan Lendl.
Murray, who won the US Open and Wimbledon under Lendl's guidance, split with the 54-year-old back in March and is now coached by Amelie Mauresmo.
"[My temper] is something I still need to work a lot on," Tennis World quotes Murray as saying. "It wasn't really a problem at the beginning of my career, but it has increasingly become an issue and a part of me.
"I improved a lot on that aspect, especially over the last two or three years, when I started working with Ivan Lendl."
Murray, who won the Shenzhen Open title at the weekend, opened his China Open account with a victory over Jerzy Janowicz yesterday.
