Laura Robson has insisted that she has plenty to improve on following her passage through to the semi-finals of the Guangzhou Open in China.
The 18-year-old, who recently reached the fourth round of the US Open, defeated world number 47 Peng Shuai in three sets on Thursday to book her place in the last four.
"I think after New York I'm feeling pretty confident on court and I'm not really having any trouble serving out matches at the moment, which is always good," the recently-crowned British number one told thetennisspace.com.
"But I've still got a lot that I can improve on, so I'm trying not to focus on anyone else's expectations, just focusing on improving and listening to my coach."
Robson will now meet fourth seed Urszula Radwanska as she looks to become the first British woman to reach a WTA singles final since Jo Durie in 1990.
