Marin Cilic reaches Queen's final

Marin Cilic books his place in the Queen's final, beating Sam Querrey 6-3 3-6 6-3.

Marin Cilic will advance through to the final at the Queen's Club thanks to a 6-3 3-6 6-3 win over Sam Querrey this afternoon.

The big-serving Croat claimed an early break of Querrey's serve in the opening set to give himself a two-game lead.

He then pressed home that advantage by holding his remaining service games to seal a 6-3 success.

American Querrey responded in the second set with a string of forehand winners, including three on a Cilic service game to claim a break. The 24-year-old held his nerve to serve out the set and force a decider.

Cilic quickly regained the initiative in the final set by breaking Querrey's serve at the first time of asking.

Despite a spirited effort from Querrey, Cilic secured the final set 6-3 to book his place in the final.
