World number two Agnieszka Radwanska has revealed that she is hoping to play in her second Grand Slam final of her career at the US Open following her progression into the third round.
The Pole, who saw off Spain's Carla Suarez Navarro in three sets on Thursday, lost her first Slam final at Wimbledon to Serena Williams last month.
"Of course it's a little bit tough, that this is the last Grand Slam," she told reporters. "We all playing eight months already pretty much every week. It's always a little bit more difficult than the beginning of the year.
"But, I'll still try my best to go forward. I'm just hoping that I can play another major final."
Radwanska, who faces Jelena Jankovic in the third round, can end the tournament at the top of the world rankings if she reaches the final.
