Ivan Dodig dropped just three games on his way to booking his place in round two of the US Open at the expense of Japan's Hiroki Moriya this evening.
The Croatian's forehand proved to be too strong for Moriya, who eventually lost the encounter 6-0 6-1 6-2.
Dodig will now take on world number four Andy Murray for a place in round three after the Brit saw off the challenge of Alex Bogomolov at Flushing Meadows Jr earlier today.
Although no confirmation has been given, the match is expected to take place on Thursday.
