Jamie Langfield defends Aberdeen huddle

Jamie Langfield insists that Aberdeen's pre-match ritual is a "bosie" and not a huddle.

Aberdeen goalkeeper Jamie Langfield has defended his side's pre-match huddle before the 3-0 win against Partick Thistle.

Langfield said that rather than being the Celtic huddle which it has been likened to, he preferred to call it an "Aberdeen Bosie".

"It has caused some upset but we do not like to call it the huddle," BBC Sport quotes him as saying. "We like to call it the Aberdeen bosie, as I have seen on Twitter. It's not a huddle, it was a bosie.

"We were a young team on Saturday and it was something the older boys and manager had discussed just to get the young boys up. And it worked."

Langfield has played for Aberdeen since 2005.
