Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has promised Jack Wilshere that he will be given a chance to take his European form into the Premier League following another solid midfield display against Red Star Belgrade.
The 34-cap England international has stood out for the Gunners in the Europa League this term, playing the full 90 minutes against Red Star and BATE Borisov over the past month.
Wilshere has still yet to appear in the Premier League for Arsenal this season, however, with his only other run-out coming against Doncaster Rovers in the EFL Cup on September 20.
Wenger now appears ready to throw the 25-year-old in the mix for Sunday's trip to Everton, telling reporters: "He will get a chance in the Premier League, don't worry about that.
"I think at the moment it's going like that. He got a big kick in the first half on his ankle but he managed to get through the 90 minutes and games of that intensity will, of course, help him a lot."
Wilshere spent last season on loan at Bournemouth, playing 27 times in the top flight prior to picking up an injury in the closing stages of the campaign.
