Fulham are reportedly interested in securing a season-long loan deal for Arsenal defender William Saliba.

Arsenal defender William Saliba has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Fulham.

After spending the last campaign on loan at Saint-Etienne, Saliba had been expected to feature for the Gunners on a regular basis during 2020-21.

However, the 19-year-old is yet to be provided with any game time by Mikel Arteta, leading to speculation regarding his short-term future.

According to the Evening Standard, Fulham are interested in strengthening their backline with the addition of the Frenchman.

Although the Cottagers produced an improved performance against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday, Scott Parker wishes to sign at least one new central defender before Monday's deadline.

A number of clubs in Saliba's homeland are also keen on a deal until next summer.
