Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted that he is not concerned by defender Bacary Sagna's failure to sign a new deal at the Emirates Stadium.
Sagna's contract expires at the end of the season, but Wenger has revealed that he is pushing hard to extend the full-back's stay at the Gunners.
The Frenchman told The Express: "We are not far. I will push very hard to get it done, yes.
"We cannot stop him from signing a pre-contract agreement with another club. But for me, that is not a problem because when you are a professional football player, you do until the last day your best. If you don't do that, you are not professional for me.
"I don't question Sagna's commitment until the last day of his contract."
Sagna has made 260 appearances for Arsenal since joining the club in 2007.
