West Ham United are reportedly keen to wrap up the signing of Alex Song this week.
The former Arsenal midfielder impressed with the Hammers last term during a season-long loan from Barcelona, whom he joined in 2012 for £16m.
Initially, United were said to be reluctant to meet the Catalans' £7m valuation of the 27-year-old Cameroonian.
However, both clubs have reached a compromise that will see Song join the Irons on a permanent contract in the coming days, according to The Mirror.
He was in attendance at Upton Park on Thursday as the East Londoners beat Lusitanos 3-0 to earn a first-leg lead in their Europa League first-round qualifier.
