Bolton Wanderers boss Neil Lennon hopes that the money his club will earn from an FA Cup fourth-round replay against Liverpool will help to fund the signing of Kris Commons, according to reports.
The forward is out of contract at Celtic at the end of the season and a queue of clubs, both domestic and foreign, are said to be interested in signing him.
However the Express says that Lennon, who managed Commons during his time at Celtic, wants to sign him this month and hopes that the FA Cup money will help him to do so.
The paper also claims that the 31-year-old has interest from Leicester City, Crystal Palace and Valencia.
Commons has scored seven goals this season.
