Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Brazil could line up for Sunday's World Cup qualifier against Colombia.

Thiago Silva is in line to make his 100th international appearance for Brazil when they take on Colombia in Barranquilla for their 2022 World Cup qualifier on Sunday.

The 37-year-old centre-back, who received his first cap back in October 2008, started in the heart of the defence alongside former Paris Saint-Germain teammate Marquinhos in the 3-1 victory over Venezuela on Friday, and the pair are set to remain in the back four this weekend.

Head coach Tite may, however, decide to rotate in other areas of his starting lineup, with Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson potentially getting the nod over Liverpool's Alisson Becker, while full-backs Danilo and Guilherme Arana could be replaced by Emerson Royal and Alex Sandro.

After Casemiro pulled out of the Brazil squad due to an infection in a wisdom tooth, Fabinho and Gerson were handed starts against Venezuela in central midfield. The duo will be hoping to keep their places in the first XI, though the likes of Douglas Luiz and Fred could be handed starts on Sunday.

Tite will be able to welcome back talisman Neymar after the PSG star was suspended for their last match due to an accumulation of bookings.

The 29-year-old is likely to start on the left wing, while Leeds United's Raphinha – who provided two assists on his international debut after coming off the bench against Venezuela – could be handed his first senior start on the opposite flank.

Gabriel Jesus, who has failed to score in each of his last 13 international matches, and Everton Ribeiro could drop to the bench at the expense of both Neymar and Raphinha, while Gabriel Barbosa – who has scored 22 goals for Flamengo so far this season – is set to lead the line up front.

Brazil possible starting lineup: Ederson; Emerson, Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, Sandro; Luiz, Fabinho, Paqueta; Raphinha, Barbosa, Neymar
