Marinus Dijkhuizen: 'Andre Gray happy to stay at Brentford'

Marinus Dijkhuizen says that Andre Gray is happy at Brentford, despite reports that he will leave the club.

Marinus Dijkhuizen has said that Andre Gray is happy at Brentford, despite speculation linking him with a move to Hull City.

The 24-year-old started Brentford's Championship match against Ipswich Town last week on the bench due to the speculation, but came on to score in the 91st minute.

"He's still happy at the club but he's also proud other clubs want him. He's a human being," Dijkhuizen told GetWestLondon.

"I think last week was more difficult. Now, he can play so it's different from last week. I always talk to him.

"I know I can improve him as he's still young and in his second year in the Championship. I hope he will decide to stay here. He's under contract so, if other clubs don't play the right price [then he will stay]."

Gray scored 17 goals for Brentford last season.
