Chelsea midfielder Ramires reveals that he is extremely disappointed to be missing next month's Champions League final through suspension.

Chelsea midfielder Ramires has admitted that he is devastated to be playing no part in next month's Champions League final.

The Brazilian international will miss the encounter against Bayern Munich following his booking during last week's 2-2 semi-final draw in Barcelona.

Reflecting on his ban, Ramires has admitted that he does not agree with the referee's decision to caution him.

"When I received the yellow card I felt like my whole world had just collapsed," he told The Sun. "I asked the referee to consult his assistant before he issued the card but he completely ignored me. It was very harsh and the consequences were terrible for me.

"But I had to find the mental strength to carry on even though I was hurting inside. I couldn't let my teammates down."

Chelsea trio John Terry, Branislav Ivanovic and Raul Meireles will also miss the final through suspension.
