Chelsea captain John Terry has hailed Frank Lampard as the greatest player in the club's history.
The 38-year-old Lampard announced his retirement from football earlier today following an illustrious 20-year career that saw him make more than 1,000 appearances for club and country, scoring over 300 goals.
The bulk of those came during his time at Chelsea, where he scored a club-record 211 goals in 648 games to help the club to every major trophy available to them.
Lampard and Terry were part of a Chelsea side that won three Premier League titles, four FA Cups, two League Cups, the Champions League and the Europa League.
