Chelsea reportedly end their interest in signing Bournemouth forward Callum Wilson after the England international's recent poor run of form.

Chelsea reportedly have no plans to follow up their previous interest in Bournemouth forward Callum Wilson.

Having netted 33 goals since Bournemouth earned promotion to the Premier League in 2016, Wilson has earned international recognition with England and interest from other top-flight clubs.

Chelsea have been among the 27-year-old's suitors at a time when they have been contemplating changes to their forward line.

However, as a result of Wilson's prolonged run without a goal, Sky Sports News claims that the Blues will not be making a bid for the frontman.

Wilson has not netted a Premier League goal since September 28, a period stretching 14 matches, although he did get on the scoresheet against Luton Town in the FA Cup earlier this month.

Chelsea are also unlikely to exercise a buy-back clause in the contract of defender Nathan Ake.
