Chelsea ready to make lucrative offer for Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann?

Chelsea are reportedly refusing to give up on signing Atletico Madrid marksman Antoine Griezmann this summer.

Chelsea have reportedly not given up hope of signing Atletico Madrid's star forward Antoine Griezmann this summer.

France international Griezmann, who has four years left on his contract in the Spanish capital, has scored 29 goals in all competitions for Atleti this term.

His goals have helped the Rojiblancos draw level on points at the top of La Liga with Barcelona, against whom he scored a brace against last week to knock the defending European champions out of the Champions League.

According to The Mirror, Chelsea will make a lucrative offer to try to sign the 25-year-old this summer, despite the fact that they will not be in next season's Champions League.

The Blues are hoping that Griezmann will want to join former Atletico top scorer Diego Costa at Stamford Bridge.
