Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku may reportedly be prepared to entertain a transfer to Tottenham Hotspur during the summer transfer window.
Over the past few days, the Belgian's long-term future at Stamford Bridge has been thrown into doubt after he gave an interview telling Sky Sport Italia that he was unhappy with life at the Blues.
The 28-year-old was subsequently dropped from the squad to face Liverpool on Sunday, head coach Thomas Tuchel revealing that further discussions would take place on Monday.
However, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Lukaku is already open to securing a summer switch to Spurs, who recently appointed former Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte as their new boss.
While Lukaku has strongly suggested that he is pining for a return to San Siro just six months into a five-year contract, Inter will realistically not be able to afford Chelsea's asking price in the short term.
Spurs face a scenario where they may have to consider cashing in on Harry Kane in 2022 or 2023, throwing up the possibility of Lukaku making a controversial switch across England's capital.
