Report: Valencia want Radamel Falcao

A report claims that Valencia want to sign AS Monaco forward Radamel Falcao, whose loan spell at Chelsea is expected to be cut short in the January transfer window.

Valencia are reportedly interested in signing Colombian forward Radamel Falcao on loan in the January transfer window.

The 29-year-old, once regarded as one of the most lethal strikers in world football, has only scored once for Chelsea this season after joining the Blues on loan from AS Monaco in the summer.

Falcao also struggled during a spell with Manchester United last season, with his form suffering over the last couple of seasons.

It is understood that Chelsea will cut ties with the striker in the January transfer window and according to AS, Valencia want to bring him back to Spain.

Falcao scored 70 times in 91 appearances for Atletico Madrid between 2011 and 2013, before controversially leaving for Monaco, where his record stands at 13 goals in 22 games.
