Cameron Jerome: 'Tony Pulis is a winner'

Cameron Jerome believes that Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis deserves praise for the job that he has done at the club.

Crystal Palace striker Cameron Jerome has praised the impact that Tony Pulis has made since becoming manager of the club in November.

The Eagles picked up a crucial 3-0 victory over relegation rivals Cardiff City on Saturday to move seven points clear of the Premier League's bottom three.

Jerome, who has previously worked with Pulis at Stoke City, believes that the 56-year-old deserves praise for the job that he has done so far at Selhurst Park.

"He has been a breath of fresh air since he's come to the football club," Jerome told the Croydon Advertiser.

"From day one, as soon as he has come in, he has demanded respect and got the team togetherness. Everyone is pulling in the right direction and he deserves every plaudit he's getting at the moment and the accolades.

"He knows his opponents, and people say he's a natural-born winner. He's a leader, winner, he wants the best out of you and demands the best out on the training pitch."
