Sam Allardyce fields an unchanged Everton lineup against Huddersfield Town in his first match in charge.

Sam Allardyce fields an unchanged Everton lineup against Huddersfield Town in his first match in charge.

The new manager, who replaced David Unsworth at the helm this week, has opted to keep the same lineup that secured a 4-0 victory over West Ham United in midweek to send the caretaker boss off on a positive note.

Oumar Niasse, who missed out against the Hammers due to his suspension for deceiving a referee, starts among the substitutes.

Conversely, David Wagner has tinkered with the losing formula that fell to a 5-0 defeat to Arsenal on Wednesday.

Laurent Depoitre replaces Steve Mounie in spearheading the Terriers' attack, while Tom Ince, Tommy Smith, Danny Williams and Scott Malone also come in.

Martin Cranie, Florent Hadergjonaj, Jonathan Hogg and Chris Lowe are the players to join Mounie on the bench.

Everton: Pickford; Martina, Kenny, Williams, Holgate; Gueye; Davies, Rooney, Lennon, Sigurdsson; Calvert-Lewin
Subs: Robles, Schneiderlin, Keane, Vlasic, Lookman, Baningime, Niasse

Huddersfield Town: Lossl; Smith, Malone, Schindler, Zanka; Williams, Mooy; Quaner, Ince, Kachunga; Depoitre
Subs: Green, Hogg, Lowe, Cranie, Hadergjonaj, Palmer, Mounie
