Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy has admitted that he is "delighted" to have strengthened his squad with as many as 10 players this summer.
McCarthy is attempting to maintain the club's momentum after a positive end to last season, and the former Wolverhampton Wanderers boss believes that he has made some excellent additions before the start of the Championship campaign.
The 54-year-old told Sky Sports News: "I think there's still a lot of players who are not signed up yet because there demands are too high, but the ones that I have signed, I am delighted with.
"Despite the fact that we have got them on a Bosman, if we had to have paid for them, they would have cost a lot of money."
Ipswich begin the new season with a trip to Reading on Saturday.
