Liverpool welcome Atletico Madrid to Anfield on Wednesday night looking to overturn a 1-0 first-leg deficit in the last 16 of the Champions League.

Less than nine months on from lifting the trophy for a sixth time at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano, Jurgen Klopp's side were beaten at the same stadium last month to leave themselves with a must-win second leg in front of their own fans.

We say: Liverpool 2-0 Atletico Madrid

This promises to be a fascinating contest; two European knockout specialists from recent times going head to head, with the defence-minded Atletico looking to keep Liverpool's attack at bay.

The most important thing for Liverpool will be to score the first goal, while they will need to improve defensively if they are to avoid conceding a costly away goal at any point. However, this is a team which has risen to the big occasion on numerous occasions under Klopp and, given their record at Anfield compared to Atletico's record on the road, we are backing Liverpool to progress.

PSG vs. Borussia Dortmund (Wednesday, 8pm)

Paris Saint-Germain are aiming to overturn a 2-1 deficit when they welcome Borussia Dortmund to the Parc des Princes for the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.

Neymar scored a potentially crucial away goal in last month's reverse fixture, but strikes either side from Erling Braut Haaland ensures that BVB have a slender advantage.

Due to the spread of the coronavirus across Europe, it was announced on Monday that this game will now be played behind closed doors.

We say: PSG 1-1 Dortmund (2-3 on aggregate)

PSG have failed to beat Dortmund in their three previous competitive meetings. BVB have been in impressive form over the past month and, having done the hard work on home soil last month, we are backing them to see the job through in this behind-closed-doors match.
