Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has stressed that he is trying his best at Liverpool and is confident that he is making strides at the club.
The 24-year-old initially struggled to find a place in the Reds' lineup following his deadline-day move from Arsenal in the summer.
However, Jurgen Klopp's eagerness to rotate his squad has seen Oxlade-Chamberlain get more minutes under his belt in recent weeks.
On Sunday, the England midfielder impressed as Liverpool cruised to a 4-0 win over Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
"I think we competed from the start," Oxlade-Chamberlain told Sky Sports News. "We had to be at 100% and switched on in defence, and going forward we have the ability to open doors and score goals.
"The front four have been on fire, they are not bad. Everyone's a quality player and the rest of us have to sneak our noses in there. Squad rotation is important, keeps us fresh.
"I am trying my best, I think I have made strides and I keep improving. I am trying to do everything the manager wants, I thought I did OK today."
Up next for Liverpool is a Premier League trip to Arsenal on Friday night.
