Charlie Adam has dismissed recent speculation that has linked him with a move away from Liverpool this summer.
Reports had claimed that Merseyside rivals Everton were keen to sign the Scotland international, while Stoke City are also said to be interested.
However, despite the recent arrival of fellow midfielder Joe Allen, Adam has insisted that his future lies at Anfield.
"I am happy at Liverpool and why would I leave after a year? There is no point," Adam told the Metro.
"I am open enough to say I have had a conversation with the manager but for me I'm not going anywhere. I want to play this year and hopefully I get the opportunity to do that."
The 26-year-old joined the Reds from Blackpool last year.
