Phil Foden and Jack Grealish have not been selected in Manchester City's matchday squad for Wednesday night's Champions League showdown against Paris Saint-Germain.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has made three change to his starting lineup for Wednesday night's Champions League showdown against Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain at the Etihad Stadium.

The Citizens – who lost 2-0 against Mauricio Pochettino's side in September – can finish top of Group A and book their place in the last 16 if they secure all three points against Les Parisiens.

The most notable absentees from City's matchday squad are English midfielders Phil Foden and Jack Grealish, while Kevin De Bruyne is unavailable once again after testing positive for COVID-19 last week.

After being rested in the 3-0 victory against Everton on Sunday, Ruben Dias has returned to the first XI, joining Kyle Walker, John Stones and Joao Cancelo in the back four, with Aymeric Laporte dropping to the bench.

Oleksandr Zinchenko's inclusion suggests that he is set to start in centre-midfield with Ilkay Gundogan, while Rodri is preferred again over Fernandinho in the defensive midfield role.

In-form playmaker Bernardo Silva will likely play in a more advanced role in City's attacking front three, which also includes Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez.

Academy graduates Cole Palmer and James McAtee, who both featured at the weekend, have been selected on the substitutes' bench, along with Gabriel Jesus who misses out of the first XI for the second successive match.
