Manchester City have reportedly identified Hearts youngster Aaron Hickey as a potential signing.
While the summer transfer window has already shut for English clubs, City continue to consider their options going forward with regards to homegrown players.
According to The Sun, that could see City look to push through a deal for Hickey, possibly during the January transfer window.
Despite being just 17 years of age, Hickey has already made nine first-team appearances for Hearts, including one in last season's Scottish Cup final.
The report adds that City would likely allow the teenager to see the season out at Hearts if they are able to agree terms over a future transfer.
