Predicted Manchester City XI vs. Manchester United - Sergio Aguero or Gabriel Jesus?

Sports Mole looks at how Manchester City could line up for their derby against Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

All eyes will be on Manchester this weekend as Manchester City host local rivals Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium in the first derby of the season.

Champions City lead the way again in the Premier League table courtesy of an 11-match unbeaten start to the campaign, leaving them two points clear of Chelsea and Liverpool in the chasing pack.

Pep Guardiola's side are in blistering form ahead of the game too, having scored six goals in both of their last two outings, but will be wary of a United side that has made a habit of coming from behind to win recently.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how City could line up for the derby.

Possible MNC XI vs. MNU

Out: Kevin De Bruyne (knee), Claudio Bravo (Achilles), Eliaquim Mangala (knee)
Doubtful: None

Guardiola faces the nicest problem a manager can have ahead of this weekend's match - too many players all in excellent form.

Perhaps his biggest decision regards who to start up front, with Gabriel Jesus having netted a hat-trick in midweek but Sergio Aguero leading the Premier League goalscoring charts with seven already this term.

Aguero is expected to get the nod, but there are more questions in the front three due to Riyad Mahrez's fine form. Raheem Sterling's place in the team looks as assured as it can be in a Guardiola team given his recent returns, which means that it is likely to come down to a straight choice between Mahrez and Leroy Sane.

There are fewer options in midfield due to the continued absence of Kevin De Bruyne, and Guardiola is expected to stick with the trio of David Silva, Fernandinho and Bernardo Silva despite Ilkay Gundogan's return to fitness.

Benjamin Mendy will return at left-back having sat out in midweek, while Vincent Kompany and Nicolas Otamendi will look to challenge Aymeric Laporte and John Stones for a starting berth in the middle.
